Monumental Sports Network and Willow by Cricbuzz Partner to Air Washington Freedom’s Major League Cricket Matches
Washington Freedom’s Major League Cricket Matches to be Broadcast Live on Monumental Sports Network Starting July 6
Willow by Cricbuzz, offering more live, streaming and on-demand cricket than any other sports service, and Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) announced a groundbreaking partnership to broadcast Washington Freedom matches this upcoming Major League Cricket (MLC) season. The first match available to fans on Monumental Sports Network will be the Freedom’s season opener vs MI New York on July 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM ET. The Freedom are the first professional cricket team to represent Washington, D.C. and began play in 2023.
The network’s slate will feature seven matches from July 6 to July 22. Monumental Sports Network is the exclusive local television media rights holder for the NHL’s Washington Capitals, the NBA’s Washington Wizards, and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. It also boasts a comprehensive schedule of original programming and live men’s and women’s college basketball, college football, college volleyball, high school basketball, and esports, as well as Washington Spirit (NWSL), Old Glory DC (Major League Rugby), Hershey Bears (AHL), and Annapolis Blues (NPSL) games.
