Kelly Makepeace is a versatile communications professional with over a decade of experience in media, telecommunications, entertainment and technology. Since joining Bob Gold & Associates, Kelly has become an integral member of the team. For retail client Curacao, the largest Hispanic department chain in the country with 15 locations throughout the southwest, Kelly was indispensable in launching the biggest store opening in the company’s history, where over 10,000 people attended Curacao’s Chula Vista location in one day! Beyond this, Kelly has worked across a diverse range of sectors – including smart home technology, IoT, AdTech, streaming and fiber – consistently delivering exceptional results.
Kelly excels at producing and executing unforgettable campaigns, programs and events that deliver measurable success. Her efforts have helped clients earn 49 awards recognizing their executives, products and services. Each of the more than 10 events she produced worldwide, from Philadelphia to Barcelona and from Las Vegas to Amsterdam, have created a high level of participation from media, analysts and potential customers.

Passionate about fostering community and supporting professional networks for women and women of color, Kelly is an active member of VOICES of AAPI, an organization dedicated to promoting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in communications, marketing and creative industries. She holds a master’s degree in communication management and a graduate certificate in entertainment business from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School of Communication & Journalism.
