As lead executive for the streaming media and pay TV communications group, Eric oversees the agency’s strategic communications counsel for media, entertainment and content technology companies in the streaming era.
After rising through the ranks from director to SVP, corporate communications at Starz, the premium pay TV cable network, Eric has been providing strategic PR consulting services as Principal at Becker PR, LLC. While at strategic communications firm ICR, Eric gained additional experience and led client work in ad tech, aerospace/space/defense, food, manufacturing, sports and transportation.
Eric is a high-level B2B and B2C messaging strategist with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality. He develops properly crafted and calibrated messaging which drives awareness and creates/fortifies long-standing and trusted relationships with internal and external constituencies, including business/consumer/trade press and key industry analysts and investors.
Eric has a strong background and experience in operating as company spokesperson and cultivating cross-functional team leadership and development, overseeing executive communications and identifying and managing consumer/business PR campaigns, speaking engagements, financial communications, crisis communications, industry affairs, and more.
Residing in Denver, Eric is a proud graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and majored in History and Political Science, Eric also has a Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law.
