A New York-based multichannel direct-marketing company found its business of selling consumer items like costume jewelry upended by growing online competition. They were faced with filing for Chapter 11 protection while t reorganized its business.
BG&A worked closely with the organization’s CEO and the company’s attorneys in fashioning a ground-up internal and external communications effort enabling the company to persuade all constituencies – lenders, creditors, suppliers, employees and customers – of the value of its reorganization plan.
The organization successfully emerged from Chapter 11, announcing that its plan of reorganization was approved by creditors and confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
