VIAMEDIA NAMES RICK TARVIN EVP OF SALES

Tarvin to Oversee Viamedia’s Regional Teams

New York City – July 12, 2016 – Viamedia, the television industry’s largest independent cable TV ad management company, today announced that Rick Tarvin has been promoted to Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales. In his new role, Tarvin is responsible for overseeing Viamedia’s regional teams, including all local sales, and will report directly to David Solomon, Viamedia’s chief revenue officer.

“Rick has been instrumental in the growth of Viamedia and we are proud to recognize his contribution to our collective success with this promotion,” said Viamedia President and CEO Mark Lieberman.  “We’re looking forward to the continued value he will bring as Executive Vice President of Sales as we move forward.”

Tarvin began at Viamedia in 2006 as the Corporate Manager of Automotive and Business Development, directing sales strategies for automotive advertising and managed new media products including internet and long form advertising channels.

Tarvin began his advertising sales career in 1993 as a Regional Sales Manager for Trader Publishing Company, where he developed and implemented strategies for advertising sales in the Automotive and Truck industries. In 2001, Tarvin entered cable advertising sales as Local Sales Manager with AT&T Media Services, which through mergers became Insight Media in Covington, Kentucky.
